![]() I attempted to copyĪudioEndpoint.inf from my machine and force theirs into using that one but was unable to install it because it is "not digitally signed".Īny help is appreciated because I am stuck here. We’ve found some effective ways that are going to fix the problem for you. ![]() If you’re also bothering by this annoying issue, calm down please. Heres how to check that your sound is not turned down low or muted: Press the Start button on your Windows 10 device or keyboard, or select the Windows icon. Troubleshooting I have attempted: Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, Updating the driver, trying different USB mic devices, running DISM restore health with SFC /Scannow. Many Windows 10 users have reported saying that their sound cut in and out so rapidly that they can’t even finish watching a video on YouTube. I personally am on a G5 but running 1903 with the 10.0.1.18xxx USB audio driver. We have probably 30 other users with a mirror build that are not experiencing problems. The USB microphones default to using the Microsoft generic USB audio driver version 10.0.1.17XXX. Some info on the machines, they are HP G5s running Windows 1809. A workaround I discovered is restarting the windows audio service. The cut usually happens around the ~10 minute mark. What is happening is during a voice call users are complaining their audio from their microphone is being cut out forcing them to end the call and restart it.
